  1. This is one of my favorite songs for yoga practice and relaxation. What kind of music, if any, do you prefer for your yoga practice?

  2. This is a pleasure to listen to. Very calming. A welcomed change in these chaotic times.

  3. For my practice I enjoy (1) no music or (2) music without vocals. This song, howeverr, was very pleasant to read, sing and enjoy on my computer.

  6. I too like this for relaxation - and for general yoga practice. But there are times when I am choosing a more vigorous practice that I prefer a little more up-tempo music. I like both instrumental and vocal music - sometimes a particular song can help me stay in a pose longer - if I am singing in my head, I am not focusing on my shaking muscles!

  7. Since I use Yoga not only as a way to strenghten my muscles, but also a way to focus my heart on God, I find this music a perfect choice. Thank you for sharing it with us on line and in class.

  8. Hi Jenny
I remember when I first hear her sing back a Sanctuary. I find that from time to time I miss Sanctuary even thu I had to rush to gether and was late. Seem like that is what I do best (run run and end up no where)but that could be a good place. I will E-mail you the Yoga Stick Figures.

  9. Hey JP
I miss it, too. And I know what you mean about the rushing! I should probably convert all of my stick figures to PDFs and post them to a website. I don't think there's an easy way to stick them to this blog. But I've been meaning to throw a website up one of these days...

  10. I like a combination of relaxing music, such as this selection along with the Beatles, Stix, Billy Joel, etc.

  11. You know me Jenny....I like the relaxing, tradtional yoga stuff, but then I like my 70s and 80s music!!

  12. Hi Jen,

Fancy meeting you here! People's musical tastes are always interesting to me. Upbeat music can be fun during yoga, but in my opinion it is essential with cardio!

  13. For many, it seems that they begin with yoga and then (maybe) discover Kirtan and/or Spiritual song somewhere further down the line... But for me, Kirtan found it's way into my heart first... and I began to navigate this journey guided by an entirely new light.

...and then yoga just felt right...

You were my first yoga instructor and I am truly grateful for that. As your energy and constant encouragement has made that light shine even brighter.

Your class is that one time during the week where I feel at ease and empowered all at once!

So I thank you that and also for sharing this song. :)
